Best Web Scraping API Pricing and Plans

Four plans, one number to compare: how many successful requests you need in a month. Every plan is a subscription, monthly or yearly, and the counter moves only on responses that actually come back.

Estimate your monthly cost

Enter how many requests you plan to send in a month and the share you expect to come back successful. Only successful responses count against the plan, so that number picks the plan for you.

Cost per 1,000 successful requests

1.38 USD

Enterprise, the largest plan, includes 3,000,000 successful requests a month for 998 USD. Requests above the limit return a quota error, never a surprise invoice.

The estimate uses the list prices on this page and nothing else.

Yearly billing costs half of twelve monthly payments, a 50% saving, and you can switch between the two inside your account.

Run a request before you decide

The demo on the web scraping api homepage runs five live requests per session against any public URL you type, with unlimited runs on the four bundled targets. No account, no card, and the response you get is the same one the API returns on a paid plan.

Pricing questions

Do I pay for requests that fail

No. Timeouts, blocks and retries are absorbed on our side, and only a successful response moves your counter.

What happens if I go over my monthly limit

Requests above the limit return a clear quota error rather than a surprise invoice. You move up a plan from inside the account and the new limit applies immediately, with the difference prorated.

Can I change or cancel my plan

Yes, at any time, from the billing page in your account. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.

Is there a discount for paying yearly

Yes. Yearly billing is exactly half the monthly price on every plan, a 50% saving: 288 USD a year on Starter (24 USD a month), 888 USD on Growth (74 USD a month), 2,988 USD on Scale (249 USD a month) and 5,988 USD on Enterprise (499 USD a month). That brings the cost per 1,000 successful requests to 0.48 USD on Starter, 0.30 on Growth and 0.17 on Scale and Enterprise.

Which plan should I start on

Take the monthly volume you collect today, add the growth you expect this quarter, and pick the plan above that number. Growth is where most teams land, because it is the first tier with scheduled jobs and plain English extraction.

How does this compare with credit based pricing

One successful request is one unit here, whatever the target is. Credit based providers charge a multiplier for difficult pages, commonly five times for a large marketplace, twenty five times for a search results page and ten more for an anti-bot bypass, so the same crawl can cost several times more or somewhat less depending on your mix. The arithmetic, with a breakeven you can check against your own targets, is in ScraperAPI pricing per 1,000 pages.

How does this compare with Apify or other usage based platforms

Platforms that bill compute time and proxy gigabytes are cheaper for plain HTML on datacenter addresses, often a few cents per 1,000 pages. Once pages need residential traffic or a rendered browser, bandwidth and retries dominate, and a flat price per successful request usually wins. The worked numbers, including the page weight where the lines cross, are in Apify pricing per 1,000 pages.

How does this compare with Bright Data

Bright Data meters per gigabyte on its proxy networks and 1.50 USD per 1,000 requests on Web Unlocker, so a heavy page costs more than a light one. Flat per request pricing is 0.98 USD per 1,000 on Starter and 0.33 on Scale regardless of page weight or how well defended the target is. The full conversion, read from their live rates, is in Bright Data pricing per 1,000 pages.

How does this compare with Oxylabs

Oxylabs publishes a rate card that changes with the target: on its entry Web Scraper API plan an ordinary site is 1.15 USD per 1,000 results and 1.35 with JavaScript rendering, while the advertised included results figure is calculated at the cheaper Amazon rate. Flat per request pricing is 0.98 USD per 1,000 on Starter with rendering included and no per domain rate to model. The full conversion, read from their live rates, is in Oxylabs pricing per 1,000 pages.

How does this compare with ScrapingBee

ScrapingBee sells credits: 250,000 for 49 USD on its Freelance plan, with a page costing 1 credit plain, 5 with JavaScript rendering, 25 with premium proxies and 75 on stealth. At the same 49 USD, our Starter plan equals ScrapingBee exactly when the average page costs 5 credits. Below that ScrapingBee is cheaper, above it flat pricing is. The full conversion across all five plans is in ScrapingBee pricing per 1,000 pages.

How does this compare with ZenRows

ZenRows sells credits in twelve rungs from 19 USD for 45,000 to 999 USD for 12.5 million on monthly billing, with a page costing 1 credit plain, 5 with JavaScript rendering, 10 with premium proxies and 25 with both. Against our plans the breakeven is between about 2.3 and 5 credits a page, so ZenRows is cheaper for mostly static pages and flat pricing is cheaper once most pages need a browser. The full conversion is in ZenRows pricing per 1,000 pages.

How does this compare with Decodo

Decodo charges a different rate per request type instead of credits: on its 49 USD plan 0.30 USD per 1,000 plain pages, 0.65 rendered, 0.90 on premium proxies and 1.25 on premium proxies with rendering. That makes Decodo cheaper for plain and rendered pages on small budgets, while flat pricing wins on protected sites and, at Scale, on rendered pages too. The full conversion across all eight plans is in Decodo pricing per 1,000 pages.

How does this compare with Firecrawl

Firecrawl bills credits: 1 per page for markdown, 5 per page when you ask for JSON extraction. On its 399 USD Growth plan that is 0.80 USD per 1,000 markdown pages or 3.99 per 1,000 JSON pages, and a 403 from the target still costs a credit. Here every page is one successful request with extraction included, 0.60 USD per 1,000 on Growth. Firecrawl is cheaper for plain markdown on its 99 USD plan. The full conversion is in our Firecrawl pricing article.

How does this compare with SerpApi

SerpApi sells searches in fixed plans: 1,000 for 25 USD, 15,000 for 150 USD, 100,000 for 725 USD, which is 25 down to 7.25 USD per 1,000. A Google results page here is one successful request at 0.98 USD per 1,000 on Starter, 0.60 on Growth and 0.33 on Scale. SerpApi wins on ready made parsers for dozens of verticals and its Legal Shield from the 150 USD plan up. The full plan table is in our SerpApi pricing article.

How does this compare with Browserbase

Browserbase bills browser hours and proxy gigabytes separately: 0.10 to 0.12 USD an hour, then 10 to 12 USD per GB of proxy traffic on its 99 and 20 USD plans, and its Fetch API is 4 USD per 1,000 calls with proxies and does not run JavaScript. On protected sites that is roughly 3 to 24 USD per 1,000 pages depending on page weight. Here a page is one successful request at 0.98 USD per 1,000 on Starter and 0.33 on Scale, whatever it weighs. Browserbase is the better tool for agents that log in and click, and cheaper on sites that need no proxy. The worked numbers are in our Browserbase pricing article.
