ScrapingBee Pricing and Real Cost per 1,000 Pages on Every Plan

Short answer: ScrapingBee sells five plans from 19 to 599 USD a month, priced in credits, and a page costs anywhere from 1 credit to 75 depending on rendering and proxy type. That puts the real price between about 0.07 and 19 USD per 1,000 pages. At 49 USD a month it ties exactly with flat per request pricing when the average page costs 5 credits. Here is the full conversion.

This console sends a real request and shows you the real response. Five live fetches per session, and the sample targets run as often as you like.

ScrapingBee is one of the better known scraping APIs for a reason: it is simple to call, the documentation is good, and the entry price is low. The price on the plan card is not the price of a page, though. It is the price of a bag of credits, and how many pages that bag holds depends on which switches your requests need.

This piece does the conversion. The plans were read from scrapingbee.com/pricing and the credit costs from ScrapingBee's own knowledge base article on the credit system, both on 27 September 2026. Plans in this market change several times a year, so check the live page before you commit a budget.

The five ScrapingBee plans

All five are monthly, priced in USD excluding VAT, and bill only successful requests. The difference between them is the size of the credit bag, the number of concurrent requests, and, on the top two, priority support, a dedicated account manager and team management.

PlanPer monthAPI creditsConcurrencyUSD per 1,000 credits
Hobby19 USD75,000250.253

Business249 USD3,000,0002000.083
Business +599 USD8,000,0004000.075

One thing to know before reading any third party review: the 19 USD Hobby plan is newer than most of them. Several of the pages ranking for this search still describe a lineup that starts at 49 USD. The live pricing page, and the plan offers in its own structured data, start at 19. New accounts also get 1,000 free credits with no card.

The credit multipliers that decide your bill

A plain request costs 1 credit. Everything that makes a request more likely to succeed on a modern site multiplies it. These are the numbers from ScrapingBee's knowledge base.

Note what JavaScript rendering does on its own: it multiplies the page by five. Most retail, travel and listing sites built in the last few years need it, so for a typical commercial scraping job the honest starting point is 5 credits a page, not 1. Premium proxies, which you switch on once classic ones start getting blocked, take it to 25. Stealth, the option for the hardest anti-bot systems, is 75.

ScrapingBee cost per 1,000 pages, every plan and request type

Multiply the plan's price per credit by the multiplier and you get the number that belongs in a budget. All figures in USD per 1,000 successful pages.

PlanClassic, no JS (1)Classic with JS (5)Premium with JS (25)Stealth (75)
Hobby, 19 USD0.251.276.3319.00
Freelance, 49 USD0.200.984.9014.70
Startup, 99 USD0.100.502.487.43
Business, 249 USD0.080.422.086.23
Business +, 599 USD0.070.371.875.62

Put differently, in pages per month: the Hobby plan buys 75,000 plain pages, 15,000 rendered ones, 3,000 premium rendered ones or 1,000 stealth ones. The 1,000 free trial credits buy 13 stealth pages, which is enough to learn whether stealth works on your target and not much more.

The 5 credit breakeven nobody else points out

Here is the arithmetic detail the review sites skip. ScrapingBee Freelance and our Starter plan cost the same, 49 USD. Freelance gives you 250,000 credits. Starter gives you 50,000 successful requests at a flat rate, whatever the target. Divide one by the other and you get 5.

So at 49 USD a month the two are exactly equal when your average page costs 5 credits, which is a JavaScript rendered page on classic proxies. Below 5 credits a page, ScrapingBee is cheaper. Above it, the flat plan is. The question for a buyer is simply which side of 5 your target list sits on, and the answer is usually visible in the first day of testing: if you needed to switch on premium proxies for even one site in five, your blended average is already well above 5.

The same comparison at other price points: our Growth plan at 149 USD works out to 0.60 per 1,000, which matches ScrapingBee Startup at about 6 credits a page and Business at about 7. Our Scale plan at 0.33 per 1,000 matches Business + at about 4.4 credits a page, so at the top end a mostly rendered workload tips toward flat pricing sooner.

Real budgets, ScrapingBee against flat per request pricing

Five realistic monthly workloads, each priced at the cheapest ScrapingBee plan whose credits cover it, against our flat 0.98 USD per 1,000 on Starter, 0.60 on Growth and 0.33 on Scale.

The pattern is the same one we found converting Zyte's tier rates and ScraperAPI's credits. Plain pages are cheap everywhere that uses multipliers, and cheaper there than on a flat plan. Once pages need a browser and a better proxy, the multiplier does the damage, and on protected targets it does it by a factor of five or more.

Where ScrapingBee is the right buy

Static pages at volume. If your targets serve their content in the HTML and do not fight back, 1 credit a page on Startup or Business is 0.08 to 0.10 USD per 1,000, which is lower than our Scale rate and we would not argue otherwise.

Small, mixed projects. The 19 USD Hobby plan is a genuinely cheap way to run a side project or a proof of concept on a handful of easy sites, with 25 concurrent requests, which is generous at that price.

And teams that want the ecosystem. ScrapingBee ships dedicated endpoints for Amazon, Walmart, YouTube and Google, extraction rules, screenshots, a CLI, an MCP server and Zapier, Make and n8n integrations. If your workflow already lives in one of those tools, that is worth something.

Where flat per request pricing wins

Rendered pages on protected sites, which is where most commercial scraping budgets actually go. A retailer behind Cloudflare, a travel site behind Akamai or a marketplace behind DataDome is a 25 or 75 credit page on a multiplier plan. On a flat plan it costs what a static blog costs, and refused attempts are not billed.

It also wins on forecasting. With multipliers, the bill depends on how many of your requests end up needing premium or stealth, and that number moves whenever a target site changes its defenses. A flat rate turns the budget into pages times a number, which is also the only kind of vendor line that a cloud and SaaS spend tracker can forecast without a surprise at month end.

If your workload is a mix, which most are, run both on your real target list for a day. ScrapingBee's 1,000 free credits and our plans make that easy, and the credits used per page in ScrapingBee's dashboard tell you immediately which side of 5 you are on.

Questions buyers ask

How much does ScrapingBee cost? ScrapingBee plans cost 19, 49, 99, 249 and 599 USD a month for 75,000, 250,000, 1 million, 3 million and 8 million credits. A page costs 1 credit plain, 5 with JavaScript rendering, 25 with premium proxies and rendering and 75 on stealth proxies, so the real price runs from about 0.07 to 19 USD per 1,000 pages.

Does ScrapingBee have a free plan? No ongoing free plan, but new accounts get 1,000 free API credits with no credit card. That is 1,000 plain pages, 200 rendered pages or 13 stealth pages, enough to test whether your targets work before paying.

Does ScrapingBee charge for failed requests? No. The pricing page states you pay only for successful requests. ScraperAPI, Oxylabs, Zyte and we work the same way, so it is standard in this market rather than a reason to pick any one vendor.

Why does JavaScript rendering cost 5 credits on ScrapingBee? Rendering runs the page in a headless browser, which uses far more compute and bandwidth than fetching raw HTML. ScrapingBee passes that on as a fivefold multiplier. On a flat plan the same cost is averaged into one rate for every page, which is cheaper when most of your pages need rendering and dearer when few do.

Is ScrapingBee cheaper than ScraperAPI? Usually, at the entry level. ScrapingBee's 49 USD plan carries 250,000 credits against ScraperAPI's 100,000 at the same price, and the rendering multiplier is 5 against ScraperAPI's 10. On Google searches ScrapingBee charges 15 credits against ScraperAPI's 25. Our ScraperAPI breakdown has the full numbers, alongside the ZenRows, Oxylabs, Bright Data and Apify conversions.

How much does ScrapingBee charge for Google search? 15 credits per Google URL on classic or premium proxies and 75 on stealth. On the Freelance plan that is about 2.94 USD per 1,000 searches. If ranking data is the job, compare it with a rank tracking API billed at one request per results page.
