ScrapingBee vs Scrapfly Pricing per 1,000 Pages by Page Type

Short answer: the two are close on plain and rendered pages and diverge on protected ones. On ScrapingBee Freelance (49 USD) a protected rendered page costs 4.90 USD per 1,000, on Scrapfly Discovery (30 USD) 4.50. Scrapfly is cheaper per credit and charges more credits per page, so the cheaper service depends on your page mix, not on the plan card.

Person comparing two scraping API invoices

ScrapingBee and Scrapfly are the two scraping APIs developers most often shortlist together. Both sell monthly credit plans, both handle proxies and browser rendering, and both look cheap on the pricing page. The honest comparison is cost per 1,000 successful pages, because a credit means something different on each.

Plan data below was read from ScrapingBee's pricing page and Scrapfly's pricing page on October 30, 2026, and credit rules from each vendor's documentation. Prices are monthly in USD and change several times a year, so check the live pages before you commit. Each vendor has its own full breakdown: ScrapingBee pricing per 1,000 pages and Scrapfly pricing per 1,000 pages.

The two price lists side by side

ScrapingBee has five self serve plans, plus Enterprise tiers from 999 to 5,799 USD for 14 to 120 million credits. New accounts get 1,000 free credits.

Scrapfly has a Free plan with 1,000 credits, four paid plans and custom contracts from 1,200 USD.

Per credit Scrapfly is cheaper at the bottom (0.150 against 0.253 USD per 1,000 credits) and the two meet near 100 USD, where ScrapingBee Startup is 0.099 and Scrapfly Pro is 0.100. Per credit is the wrong unit, though, because the price list does not say how many credits a page takes.

How many credits one page takes

ScrapingBee charges 1 credit for a standard request, 5 with JavaScript rendering, 10 with premium proxies and 25 with rendering and premium proxies together. Its stealth proxy mode costs more again, which our ScrapingBee breakdown covers.

Scrapfly starts every request from a proxy pool. Datacenter is 1 credit, residential is 25, and browser rendering adds 5. That gives four combinations of 1, 6, 25 and 30 credits. Its Unblocker can raise the price on difficult targets, and Scrapfly documents that some target specific fees appear only in your logs.

Notice the gap: ScrapingBee prices a premium proxy page at 10 credits, Scrapfly prices a residential page at 25. The proxy that gets you past a basic block is 2.5 times more expensive in credits on Scrapfly, which wipes out its cheaper credit.

Cost per 1,000 pages on the entry plans

Plan price divided by credits, times credits per page, on the 49 USD ScrapingBee Freelance plan and the 30 USD Scrapfly Discovery plan. These are the cheapest plans where each vendor's own comparison starts for a small team.

Rendered, datacenter50.9860.90
Residential, no browser101.96253.75
Residential with browser254.90304.50

Scrapfly wins on plain and rendered pages by a few cents and costs more on anything that needs a premium proxy, until the browser is added. At the protected rendered level it is 4.50 against 4.90 USD, but that is 30 USD of plan against 49 USD, so ScrapingBee gives you 10,000 such pages and Scrapfly 6,666. At volume the order barely changes: Scrapfly Pro and ScrapingBee Startup tie on plain pages at 0.10 USD per 1,000.

Matched budgets near 100 USD

At the 100 USD level, ScrapingBee Startup (99 USD, 1,000,000 credits) and Scrapfly Pro (100 USD, 1,000,000 credits) hold the same number of credits. This is where the credit rules do all the work.

ScrapingBee is cheaper on every row except plain pages, where they tie. The residential row shows it plainly: 0.99 against 2.50 USD per 1,000. The WebScrap column is a flat plan at 149 USD and 250,000 requests, so it costs more for plain and rendered pages and less for anything that needs a premium proxy.

Failed requests, overage and caps

ScrapingBee bills successful requests only. Scrapfly protects failed scrapes too, but only while failures stay under 30 percent of eligible traffic in an hour. Past that line it bills them, which tends to happen exactly when a target tightens its defenses.

Overage differs. Scrapfly Discovery is capped at its quota, and Pro and above bill extra credits per 10,000 at 3.50, 2.00 and 1.20 USD. ScrapingBee Enterprise tiers start at 999 USD for 14,000,000 credits. Neither bills a surprise on the cheapest plans, which is a point in favor of both for a first month.

A flat alternative when pages are protected

If your pages mostly need a premium proxy or a browser, a credit price converts to a different bill every time a target changes. WebScrap bills one request per successful page, with rotating residential and datacenter proxies and browser rendering included, and never bills a blocked page.

A scrape that runs on a schedule also needs someone to notice when it stops, and an uptime monitor that checks every 30 seconds catches a dead job before the data gap shows up in a report.

Which one earns your budget

Pick ScrapingBee when you need premium proxies at small and mid volume, since its 10 credit page beats Scrapfly's 25. Pick Scrapfly when your pages are mostly plain or rendered on datacenter, you want its Unblocker, a cost budget parameter or SOC 2 reports, and you can accept pricing that you measure afterward on hard targets. Pick a flat plan when the mix is mostly protected and changes often.

Before committing, run 200 real URLs per target through both free tiers, read the credit cost each response reports, and convert that into your monthly volume. That number matters more than any plan card.

Questions buyers ask

Which is cheaper, ScrapingBee or Scrapfly?

For plain and rendered pages the two are within a few cents per 1,000. For protected pages Scrapfly is cheaper per credit but charges 25 to 30 credits where ScrapingBee charges 10 to 25, so ScrapingBee Freelance at 49 USD costs 4.90 USD per 1,000 protected rendered pages against 4.50 on Scrapfly Discovery at 30 USD.

How much does ScrapingBee cost?

ScrapingBee starts at 19 USD a month for 75,000 credits, then 49 USD for 250,000, 99 USD for 1,000,000, 249 USD for 3,000,000 and 599 USD for 8,000,000. Enterprise tiers run from 999 to 5,799 USD. A plain request uses 1 credit, rendering 5, premium proxies 10 and both 25.

Do ScrapingBee and Scrapfly charge for failed requests?

ScrapingBee bills successful requests only. Scrapfly protects failed scrapes while failures stay under 30 percent of eligible traffic in an hour, and bills them beyond that. WebScrap never bills blocked or failed pages.
